Torquay Community House has a range of rooms that are ideal for functions, meetings, training or special interest groups.
Funds raised through venue hire forms a significant part of our fundraising and helps us to continue offering our services to the community.
Activity Room
Large multipurpose space with an abundance of natural light – ideal for children’s activities, active movement classes, art & craft classes and general seminars. Size: 70 sq. metres. Maximum capacity: 50.
Training Room
Medium size multipurpose space with natural light – ideal for seated classes and meetings or clear the tables away for playgroups and more. Size: 40 sq. metres. Maximum capacity 25.
Meeting Room
Medium size space with natural light – ideal for board meetings, client appointments and interviews, co-working space. Size: 26.9 sq. metres. Maximum capacity 10.
Kitchen
Large modern kitchen. All general kitchen equipment supplied (eg, cutlery, crockery, utensils, pots, pans & baking equipment). This space serves as the Tea & Coffee station for the House and may be shared with other users if they require these facilities.
Business Suite - 2 offices & reception
Featuring a separate entrance, two private offices, reception area, and shared access to kitchen and bathroom facilities, this space is perfect for a range of users—from solo practitioners to small teams. The entire space measures 38 sq. metres. Ad hoc venue hire or sole occupancy available - all enquiries welcome.
Foyer
Our foyer is a great meeting point for the Torquay community. Enjoy artwork from talented local artists, have a chat with staff and volunteers, and borrow from our Respect Library.
